PT Badak NGL Improves Its Security and Reliability by Upgrading to The Latest Version of Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Peoplesoft
PT Badak Natural Gas Liquefaction (PT Badak NGL), is the largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) company in Indonesia and also one of largest LNG plant in the world. With more than 4 decades of experience, PT Badak NGL has been known as a trustworthy and reliable professional Gas Operating Organization company.
Since 2012, PT Badak NGL has been using Oracle E-Business Suite for finance, distribution and asset maintenance modules, Oracle Peoplesoft for HR and payroll modules, also Oracle IM for access management and Oracle SOA for middleware. To maintain the principal support from Oracle, Badak has decided to upgrade to the latest version for Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.9, Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, Oracle PeopleTools 8.57, Oracle IM 12.2.1.4 and Oracle Middleware 12.2.1.4 on July 1, 2021.
The challenges faced by the company is to maintain business process sustainability while doing the Oracle applications upgrade as well as providing improvements along the way.
